Sending home fake handbags whilst traveling?

I recently went on holiday to Thailand and bought myself a lovely but fake designer hand bag in Phat pong market. my mum really wishes I had got one for her too now but at the time I wasn't sure, anyway i am going back to bangkok in November and will be there for a few weeks before traveling around more of SE Asia adn Australia. If i buy a couple of handbags at the market will i be ok to post them home or will they get confiscated at customs?
