G'Hound has some good ideas, but add Diabetes to the mix. I'd be inclined to think that cancer is lurking in her body somewhere and the vet just hasn't found it yet. Unless your vet was treating glaucoma with steroids, there would be no reason to connect the accidents with the glaucoma.
