Diabetes symptoms but not diabetes?

Ever since March, I've just been having a horrible time with different issues going on. It's June now & my 21st birthday is coming up in a couple weeks & I'm just ready for things to get better so I can enjoy being young but so many things are hindering me. Different ailments have been going on... constant heartburn (still dealing with the heartburn & limited on what I can eat), hungry all the time, tingling in legs & arms, warm sensations, I've had times where my legs or arms started throbbing while eating. The tingling & throbbing has stopped but now the past couple of days I've been getting headaches throughout the day, sometimes after eating. I don't know what to contribute to these things. I've been to the doctor, and he says that I'm not diabetic but why am I having these symptoms? I've checked my blood sugar myself in the morning on Tuesday before eating & it said 76. I've also been battling terrible terrible stress & anxiety and even stressed out while eating because of everything that's going on. I just want to be better, what could be going on?

My fiance believes that girls should never sit on cold floors, such as hard wood or tile. She believes that they should always sit on a cushion or something. Depression and anxiety is a serious health condition and everybody is not the same. So what would work for one person, might not work for another. If your partner needs medication then they need to get it A.S.A.P. I am 27yrs old and I have been fighting depression and anxiety for years. I went through a similar problem with my therapist and medication, so I went to see somebody else and they gave me the meds that I need to help me fight the symptoms and live my life. Whats wrong with my joints?

Ok, so a female tuxedo cat who lives in Mesa, AZ, indoor/outdoor cat, and lives with 2 other female tuxedo cats, all indoor/outdoor. None of the other cats have any issues, and all are healthy and happy as could be. However, our dominant female, who is part Siamese, is pulling out the fur on her lower back. it is getting progressively worse. whenever she grooms herself, we find small clumps of fur strewn across the house. We treat her regularly for worms, since she is partly outdoors. None of the other cats have flees, so we know that is not what it is, and she has also had progressive weight loss. she is not due for her examination for several months, so I was wondering if anybody knew what is is that is bothering her, and if I can buy it over the counter? she has no obvious ailments besides thin fur on her back end, and inching up her torso. health ears, healthy gums, healthy eyes, healthy eating, pooling, and temper. any suggestions?

I think Juicy Couture is kinda trashy. It looks dumb because it's literally a plush bag. Coach on the other hand is classic and won't go out of style. They last longer because they are made out of leather. And, you can use it when you're older without looking young. When your Coach bag gets old, you can send it in to Coach and have it restored. Should we lease a convenience store?

My husband wants to lease a convenience store. He is almost 65 and plans on retiring in about 1 1/2 yrs from his current job. He wants to go ahead and lease this store to have extra income from it when he retires. I would have to run the store by myself until then. We would also have to borrow about 1/2 of the money to stock the store with and would have to use our rental home for collateral. Then we would have the lease paymnent on the store and a bank payment on the loan. The store has been closed for about 3 months. The people who own the store ran it from 1979 until 1997 and then thier daughter had it until 2009 and then it has been leased to somene else until it closed 3 months ago. The couple that own it made a good living from it but the economy was better when they had it. The store has a deli in it, the mainstay of the store was cigarettes sells and they have gas pumps. I am afraid I would not be able financially to hire someone to work some and i would have to run it 7 days a wk, 12 hrs a day plus another hour to clean and cash out at night. It is the only store from from one town to the next which is about 15 miles. The last people who had it gave it a bad reputation so i don't know how long it would take to build it back up. I am also 53 yrs old and have just closed a variety shop that i had due to not enough business. It was a jewelry and handbag shop and i sold floral home decor also. I would like for him to have his dream of having this store but don't want to lose everythng we have in the process. I've been in your shoes. When one is down, having a more compassionate doctor helps someone. The last thing a person wants is to have a person that is the opposite of that. People in that career should be more understanding. Just know that you aren't alone when it comes to insurance and different types of doctors. Try to take her at face value and know it's not you. It's her personality and nothing personal towards you. As far as email is concerned, my doctor didn't like me emailing her either. Don't they realize email is how people communicate these days? I know they like seeing one face to face, but in between appts would be nice if they didn't mind emails. About the medications, I'm on medications and I feel much better. If they can help you feel better in life, give them a try. Sometimes though, they have to find the right medication for you; therefore, you may have to go thru different ones until you find the one that works for you. And remember that they don't work right away. also, the way we think, determines how we feel. It's not easy, but try teaching yourself that. Lastly, hang in there. You aren't alone!

You should be a teacher. But understand that you will have a side business. All teachers do. Two of my sisters are teachers. One is a Lawyer and one is a Realtor. They go hand in hand. 8 1/2 months pregnant and husband isn't emotionally supportive...Am I alone in this?

The problem is my mom. She has been talking about her personal problems with me since I was in junior high, and now I'm in college. I have told her several times already to stop and it's always the same things, problems with finances, problems with my dad ect. I've had diagnosed anxiousness(not 'anxiousness' obviously but so-called disorders like anxiety, anxiety-related disorders) my entire life. But I don't know if it explains all of my personality problems. And I know you can't just try to use personality disorders to explain all your faults or weaknesses, but I want to know something I've always wondered; could I have neurosis? As a child I would transfer schools and always be told I *would* make friends, etc but I didn't. In elementary school I just stood around at recess staring into space, sometimes for entire years at new schools. I also had extreme irritibility as a kid(seriously, pretty bad) and began having suicidal tendencies around ten. By now I've worked a lot at improving myself and dealing with things and have become a lot more open. But I do now have physical ailments like chronic headaches and stomaches and a lot of fatigue, as well as insomnia, hunger with no appetite(as in not wanting to eat but feeling very very hungry after not eating for prolonged periods of time), and tiredness in general that doesn't really go away. I usually have nausea or vomiting in the morning, also. I get very anxious in public places still and have many problems socializing and communicating with strangers. I have intent and desire to, but only after leaving the scene. Out in public, I usually get irate and nervous at loud noises and sweat a lot. It takes a lot out of me to get out there and look like I'm not having a problem. I'm only fifteen and keep going to the doctor but they can't find anything wrong. Many of them tell me to see a psychiatrist to be diagnosed/treated for possible depression and I do get that a lot. But most of it is just acting 'weird' around others and I don't want to be like that anymore. Auditory hallucinations are also becoming a waxing problem but are not yet affecting day to day life. I don't WANT a diagnosis... But is it possible I have neurosis?

I just got him. The guy who sold him to me said I should feed him today, so i bought frozen mice. took the snake to the store with me, showed the clerk and he told me exactly what size mouse that snake should be eating. I moved into a new place and i found my tap water didn't get very warm even when i cranked it. After inspecting my water heater, I saw a dial on the TOP of the control center, it was on a blank setting with nothing written on it, I saw that it also had settings that said ON and PILOT...it made sense to turn it to on. Thinking it'd take time to heat up to see if that fixed my problem, i went to work for 8 hours and came home. It didn't fix my problem and on further inspection of my water heater i found it was set on a low vacation temperature setting. :) So i fixed my hot water problem..but want to know what i did when i turned that top valve! I tried turning it back to the blank setting but i heard the whoosh sound gas makes and switched it back to on. Is the ON setting leaking gas into my basement or something? and can i safely turn it back to the blank setting? Also, will changing it back burn out my pilot light? Help Please!

Is my turbocharger blown or is it a boost leak?

I've got an 87 Toyota Supra single turbo and this is my first turbocharged vehicle so I'm still trying to learn about them. I've been driving my car around fine up until this morning. It seems like after the car warms up the turbo will make a "whining" noise kinda like a supercharger for just a few seconds when it starts to boost. Then it stops! Sleepover Dilemma!?! Help!?

This sounds ridiculous, but I was scooping ice cream at a friend's house and they must have a sub zero freezer because my finger started tingling and burning while I was scooping it out. I had to use my finger to get the ice cream which was sticking to the scooper off. I went to run it under warm water but I accidentally turned the cold on first and it felt hot to me. Well I was considering moving to arizona to live with my grandmother for quite a few reasons, it's warmer there, and there wouldn't be snow, and because I loved spending time with grandma as a kid. I thought it was a done deal, that I was moving out their (im unemployed in illinois) so I would have to look for a job and such out in Arizona. Why do commercial toothpastes sold in US have toxic chemicals and poisons in them?

Fluoride is already classified as poison scientifically and that's undisputed. Thousands of google searches confirm this. Its an ingredient used in rat poison, sarin (a weapon of mass destruction), and it is collected from pollution and nuclear waste sources. Yes there is some dental evidence that it is anti-cavity in nature, but our tap water is already very heavily fluoridated which eliminates the need of fluoridating toothpaste. Excessive fluoride consumption can lead to various physical ailments and that is undisputed too. Secondly toothpastes contain an ingredient known as sodium lauryl sulfate, which is source of canker sores and gum irritations. Thousands of google searches also point to how rough SLS is to the body. It is a very bad irritant and it is used in coolant of car engines. Companies like colgate and crest pride themselves for being leader in heavily fluoridated and SLS products. I personally use natural toothpaste that is free of fluoride and free of sodium lauryl sulfate, and they are more than double the price of commercial toothpaste which again confirms that the better the product the more expensive. Since 2007, I have been using fluoride free and SLS free toothpastes and I never had any cavities and every 6 months I get dental checkups and x-rays always show zero cavities and clean teeth. So then why are commercial brands of toothpastes like colgate, crest, arm and hammer, aquafresh etc etc still producing toothpastes full of fluoride and sodium lauryl sulfate? Also not everyone can afford natural toothpastes which cost more than $7 a tube in such tight economy. It is seen as luxury instead of necessity.

Landed on my left leg wrong and heard a pop in my knee. How can i heal it?

During warm-ups I went to spike the volleyball and landed on my left leg. I heard my knee pop, but kept on playing on it. Ok so ive been working out alot and have lost 65 pounds but now I'm always hungry, and I eat a lot now, but still seem to be losing weight. I do run seven miles everyday. Did my metabolism speed up and is that what's causing it? I've actually stopped dieting and have eased the restrictions on what I eat, but I'm still losing weight. My dog ignores me on walks?

i had that problem with my dog and what i did was say, "Lucky? you want a treat?" in an instant he would turn around. i continued to do that then stopped the treats. now when i call his name he turns around. if not, i will stop walking and hold the leash firmly so it will not slip out of my hand and wait until he stops too. when he does i bring a calm yet sharp voice and say "wait" he will get the hang of it and if sometimes he doesn't listen i will will say uuhp (can"t really spell it out. its like a sharp uuh (no) sound) "uuhhhpp, wait." they will get the hang of it. this was my experience. if it doesnt work then sorry. good luck!

Do I have frostbite or frostnip?

This sounds ridiculous, but I was scooping ice cream at a friend's house and they must have a sub zero freezer because my finger started tingling and burning while I was scooping it out. I had to use my finger to get the ice cream which was sticking to the scooper off. I went to run it under warm water but I accidentally turned the cold on first and it felt hot to me. I then let it warm up and it still felt hot even though it was just warm. It is now 4 hours later and my finger is burning, tingling, and feeling kind of numb but there isn't really much color difference. It might just be slightly more red than my other fingers. No blisters or anything like that. It does feel a little tight around the skin on the tip of it. I put soothing cream on it but it is just burning and hurts worse when I touch it on anything. A tree or bush question?

My family and I just moved into home on about 2 acres this winter and as the weather has gotten much warmer lately I was walking around my yard the other day and saw a couple of trees and bushes that both have red berries and black berries also. My question is does anyone know if this could be a raspberry or black raspberry tree or if black and red raspberries even come on a tree. We also have bushes with the same berries as the tree. The berries are red or black and both colors seem ripe not like they are unripe still. I would love for this to be a black raspberry tree but dont want to fool myself either. sounds like too much overhead watering i am in high desert too. you have to deep water the tomatoes once maybe twice a week this mean a slow drip at the base of plant directly into the soil, do this overnight for new plants this causes the roots to go deep to seek the water, removing the first set of leaves at the base of the plant also helps to strengthen the plant. never water the leaves or the fruit directly this causes the water to cook the plants in desert heat. too much water also cause the fruit to burst or develop fungal infections , try rabbit manure for more natural fertilizing. Miracle grow is often too harsh and it burns the plants . tomatoes changing colors while ripening is typical but not the soft blotchy fruit. remember tomatoes ARE weeds too! and like most weeds they often do best when not over cared for.

After engg he went to canada for an advance diploma but could not continue there because of ill health, even before going there he was having depression problem. but we thought that it got cured after medication but after going to canada again depression creeped in and more over he could not bear the atmosphere there. I do have health insurance and i have been seeing gastroenterologists for over 2 years. The sad part is that they failed to find cure for my IBS. The medical treatments don't work at all. I was put on antidepressants, intestinal relaxation medications, proton pump inhibitor meds, and a whole lot of more meds. The only thing i felt were the bad side effects coming from these medications -- weight gain, difficulty urinating, excessive thirst, dry mouth, fatigue, confusion, slurred speech, etc etc. I know Obama talks of necessity of health care. But he always assumes that health coverage will resolve all the ailments that people suffer. He does not take into consideration my cases where even after having health insurance and lot of visits to gastroenterologists, it is still a failure. What do politicians say about that?

Now, instead of having them removed (which compared to my proposal might actually be less painful), could they simply be "adjusted" so that they face upwards and continue to grow out normally? I've been told that there isn't enough space in my mouth but one of them has grown out almost fully, it stopped after hitting the top of the molar just anterior to it, and there is more than enough room left below it to the tooth line (X-rays don't show it to be longer than any other tooth) and enough for the lower wisdom tooth to come up. In the case of that tooth, the smallest change in its angle will allow it to fully erupt, and that's my question. Is it possible for them to be simply repositioned (although I'm sure there's nothing particularly simple about the actual adjustment) rather than outright removed?

How concerned should I be regarding this chest pain?

For the past three days, I have been suffering from a very unusual ailment. About three times a day, I have experienced debilitating, localized chest pain for about ten second intervals, with an occasional relapse of dull (but still highly localized) chest pain. It is below the skin, and its location (speaking from high school Biology experience, which isn't saying much) is around the left ventricle of the heart, or more likely the inner-most part of my left lung. When I say it is localized, I mean it. The point in question couldn't be larger than a dime, and is always the exact same spot. There have been no triggers. I have been both active and inactive, near and away from allergens (for me, a cat), having a full or empty stomach, etc. As I've said, it'd happened about nine times (three times a day for three days), and since it only hurts for about ten seconds, ninety seconds of pain haven't caused me too much trouble. First time raising a puppy (2-month-old), tips?

First off, raising a puppy is one of the most rewarding, yet one of the most challenging things you can do. It's just a hands on as raising a child. To answer your questions: 1. She's going to sleep quite a bit at first. After all she's still a baby & baby's need lots of sleep. I wouldnt worry about her getting too much or not enough sleep. She'll rest on her own as she needs to. 2. All puppies are going to whimper from time to time about any and everything. If you know that she's safe, she's not hungry, and she doesnt need to go out to pee or poop, then dont worry about her whining. She'll be fine and she has to learn to comfort herself. 3. She'll get used to having her bath. The reason she's whining at bath time is because it's a new thing for her. It takes puppies a while to get accustomed to everyday life with their humans. Give her time & she'll probably be running to get in the shower. 4. You should ALWAYS take her for walks. Walk her until she's got a good pant going & then take her back in. Never take away those daily walks no matter how hot or cold it is. My dog looks forward to his walks & it gives him a chance to burn off some that energy that puppies have. 5. Some people will disagree with me but I've found that leaving food and water out at all times is the best way. Dogs that are fed only at certain times can become food aggressive more easily. The only time that I dont have food out for my dog is when we're doing training sessions. I just always make sure that my dog has plenty of food and water & he ends up eating about 2 1/2 -3 cups a day. 6. Potty training should start as soon as your dog enters your home. The younger the puppy is when you start potty training, the better. It shouldnt take long for her to get it, just remember there WILL BE ACCIDENTS & if you keep that in the back of your mind, the whole process of potty training will be much easier. 7. You can leave your puppy alone in your home as long as you confine her to a crate or room where she cant get into mischief while your gone. You dont want your home wrecked or your puppy harmed on something that she shouldnt be playing with. I hope this helps & good luck with your pup! :)

I was doing splits last night and i did warm up ( 100 jumping jacks.) and then i stretched.. and it hurt for a bit afterwards and then i iced it and it stopped hurting.. when i do a pike stretch i can feel it. Its not swollen or anything. Is it pulled or strained? How long will it take to heal?

How concerned should I be regarding this chest pain?

For the past three days, I have been suffering from a very unusual ailment. About three times a day, I have experienced debilitating, localized chest pain for about ten second intervals, with an occasional relapse of dull (but still highly localized) chest pain. It is below the skin, and its location (speaking from high school Biology experience, which isn't saying much) is around the left ventricle of the heart, or more likely the inner-most part of my left lung. When I say it is localized, I mean it. The point in question couldn't be larger than a dime, and is always the exact same spot. There have been no triggers. I have been both active and inactive, near and away from allergens (for me, a cat), having a full or empty stomach, etc. As I've said, it'd happened about nine times (three times a day for three days), and since it only hurts for about ten seconds, ninety seconds of pain haven't caused me too much trouble. But should I be more concerned? What could this be?

Found a lump.. What should I do?

I'm only fifteen years old, and I found a lump in my breast. I have a family history of cancer (breast, skin, liver, heart, etc.) but I don't want to overreact. I first noticed it about two months ago.. What should I do? I know that breast cancer is extremely rare in teen girls, but I have had quite a few strange health problems, like a rare type of hernia, asthma that doesn't respond to meds, and many other unexplainable ailments. I'd rather not see a doctor, because I'm quite sure it's nothing to worry about. Still, I don't want to take any chances. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Dog barking at other dogs help?

Hi i recently just acquired a little 1 year old chihuahua when i went to get him he was a little scared as the lady who had him before had 5 kids and i think they played rough with him. He basically lived in a handbag lol he never got out and if he did he was carried or in a bag so he never really got socialised now my problem is whenever i take him out he barks non stop at other dogs all the time non stop except when we have walked a gd distance away and no dogs are near he is fine hes not aggressive just barks and pulls towards the other dog i think it maybe fear more than anything weirdly enough he never barks at another chihuahua how can i resolve this as its very annoying when he barks non stop at other dogs i also have another chihuahua at home and he is fine with him just dogs outside??? any help appreciated thanks

Heey I am 15 and I am travelling for the first time to California , unfourtenetly its not a dierect flight since I live in Canada :( . Since I travell on a plane at least twice a year I do not need a flight attendant , Do I need a letter from my parents saying I am allowed to fly. GERD!! Please help? How do I cope with this?

Well I have GERD for a year now and am taking medications and enforcing restrictions as advised. But is it true that even if I observe all the instructions properly, this must get worse over the years and lead me on to that fundoplication operation?? Also, is it possible to live with this decently and functionally, and live long. Maybe, say, upto 60?? I have no other ailments but this one, which is making me really miserable. I have been on holiday to Egypt 6 times now and i just love it there, i want to move there when i turn 18 and i think i will. My Air Conditioning has problems keeping up with keeping the house at my temp of 76 when its 110 outside.?

It only happens when the outside temp reaches 110. I live in phoenix so that happens on several days around here. Going to hit at least 116 today. I am wondering if that is normal, my house never goes about 84 but that is still warm for me. Once the temp drops below 105 my AC is able to get me back to 76 degrees in a couple of hours. I have already had someone out last month for another problem. I would really hate to have to call them back out for a normal thing. Looking at some websites it says the home AC is only usually good to drop the inside temp by 15-20 degrees from the outside temp. Appreciate any feedback.

Will advil help relieve DOMS?

i decided to start working out to improve my overall strength and i devoted an entire session (hour and a half) to arms only, because that is what i really want. i focused on my biceps and triceps only and was relentlessly performing back to back power sets, alternating between bicep and triceps work outs. i warmed up well, that is not a concern, so please do not think of it as such. anyways now 2 days later i have severe aches in my biceps that wont let me straighten my arms. i know that this is typical DOMS, i did do research and understand that. what i dont understand however is whether i can take aspirin to temporarily relieve the pain in my arms, because when i researched it i got a confusing mix of results. so if anyone knows whether i can use aspirin to relieve DOMS effectively please say so.
